Lis MacDonald

Watercolor artist

Lis MacDonald is a professional Napa Valley watercolor artist with many years of professional experience. A self-taught artist, she has gained her skills through workshops with respected artists and college-level art courses. Her work has received numerous awards, including Artist of the Year from the Art Association Napa Valley and acceptance into the CWA National Shows.

She has exhibited widely, including a featured exhibition at the Napa County Library in March 2018, where she presented alcohol ink paintings and watercolor dog portraits. And currently exhibits at the Art Gallery Napa Valley. She was also selected as the cover artist for the 2018 Napa Open Studios catalog. Her paintings Foggy Rainy San Francisco and Farming Town, CA were juried into the California Watercolor Association National Exhibitions in 2021 and 2022, respectively. She is a signature member of the California Watercolor Association
